The brand-name prescription medication Aimovig comprises erenumab-aooe as its active component. It is a member of a group of medications known as CGRP inhibitors, which stop the function of a protein that can set off migraine attacks. Dosage

Prefilled autoinjector pens and prefilled syringes contain a solution of aimovig. You will administer an injection to yourself once a month at home using either type. There are two strengths of aimovig: 70 and 140 milligrammes per millilitre (mg/mL). The typical Aimovig dosage is:

Negative effects

• Constipation
• Muscular cramps or spasms

• Allergic symptoms including hives, rash, edoema, or breathing difficulties
• Blood pressure is high.
