Who monitors health equity?

The World Health Organization (WHO) is in charge of global health equity monitoring and promotion. WHO collaborates with Member States, partners, civil society, and other stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive health equity strategies. WHO also provides technical assistance and guidance, as well as tools and resources to assist Member States in monitoring health equity and data collection and analysis for health policy and programming. WHO also works to build capacity and strengthen health systems in order to achieve health equity.
